Production of exhaust pipe

This work introduces a design of a technology of producing an exhaust pipe. It's semi-finished product is a pipe about a diameter of 76 mm, and the thickness of it's side made of steel 11 320 is 2 mm. Based on a literary study of problematics of bending there was designed bending by minding with a ball thorn and an exterminator. The whole bending set will be fixed to a machine ELECT 150. The procesed production process includes chopping after bending on a circular saw which is followed by insertion of a complete product on a pallet.
The manufacturing of horn holder

The project elaborated in frame of engineering studies branch 2303T002. The project is submitting design of technology production of the part from the deep drawing sheet iron 11 320.30. Pursuant to of the literary pursuit a problem of the shearing, bending and calculation was designed manufacturing in transfer combined die, which is set on the eccentric press LEXN 100 C (producer TOMA INDUSTRIES s.r.o. Trnava), with nominal force 1000 kN. Functional parts of tool are produced of tool steel 19 436.3.
Production of check valve's part

The bachelor's thesis deals with the production innovation of the return valve disc component used in pumping technology. It is a component made of sheet metal with 3 mm thickness, the quality of material is according to ČSN 11 320. Existing production using cutting technology in a process tool will be replaced by a modern, more accurate and especially more economical method by precise cutting with a pressure edge. Based on the literature study of precision cutting, assessment of production technology and processing of design solutions, the cutting tool was designed to be able to significantly speed up and reduce the cost of production of the component. It will be placed in a three-acting press from Feintool, namely XTF Speed with a nominal force of 1500 kN. In the final technical and economic evaluation, it was proved that the newly designed technology is able to bring a component of the same nature to the market, but at a significantly lower price.
Manufacturing of a safety buckle by fineblanking technology

The goal of this diploma thesis is to design a manufacturing technology for the safety buckle. The component is made of steel 11 320. The thickness of the used metal sheet is 3 mm. For the production of the part has been chosen the technology of fine blanking process with pressure edge. This type of manufacturing guarantees the demanded high quality of this special O.E.M. It also makes possible to produce volume up to 700 000 pieces per year. The cutting tool is designed to produce three blanks per one production cycle of the machine. The manufacturing will be done on the triple-action press HFA 3200plus with a feeding line FBA 8/300.
Manufacturing of bracket

Bachelor thesis deals with the manufacture of bracket, which serves as support rack. This component is produced from construction steel 11 320 of width 2 mm. The production lot of 30 000 pieces a year. As a most optimal technology were chosen technology of shearing and technology of bending. On the basis of technological and engineering calculations there was designed a tool for technology of shearing and tool for bending technology. There was created a drawing specification for tools. As a manufacturing machine was selected eccentric press S 250 with a nominal power of 2500 kN. In the economic part of thesis is calculation of one product, which is 41 CZK.
Manufacturing of Trailer Connecting Joint

The project elaborated design of technology production of the trailer connecting joint from the deep drawing sheet iron 11 320. Pursuant to of the literary pursuit a problem of the deep drawing and calculation was designed progressive tool concatenate four operations. The lower ejectors are using for ejecting components. The drawing instrument especially made of non-standardised components and it is designed for use on a hydraulic press CTH 250, with nominal tensile force 250 kN. Drawing punch and drawing die are produced from alloyed instrumental steel 19 436 heat-worked according to drawing documentation. The technical and economical evaluation was focused on the forming cost, which is 2 922 893 CZK in total.
Manufacturing of a label door fittings

Bachelor thesis is focused on the manufacturing of label door fitting. The part is made of a steel 11 320 with a thickness 1 mm. The batch sice is 150,000 pcs/ year. The manufaturing technology was choosen a method of rolling cutting with shallow drawing in the combinated tool. Technology and constructional calculating were made for this technology, from which was designed a tool and for it was made drawing. For the calculating total force and work was choosen a press LEPD 100. The costs for manufacturing one part are 39 Kč. The manufacturing is become cost-effective from 8 071 pieces/year.
Manufacturing of body latch

The work proposes production of a bend part made of 2 mm thick steel sheet 11 320 with 50 000 parts made per year. Based on the literary study of this problematic the production was chosen to be made with combined processing tool for bending and shearing. The tool is designed to do two shearing and one bending operation. Due to the enclosed shape of the bend the part is ejected from the side perpendicularly to the direction of motion of the sheet belt. The mechanical press S160 with nominal forming force of 1600 kN was chosen for the production. Shearing punches and punching dies are made of tool steel 19 422. Bending punch and dies are made of carbon steel 19 312. Price per unit was set to be 12,61 Kč. Break even point was counted to 34 849 parts.
Manufacturing of the Motorcycle Cover

The bachelor's thesis deals with the production of a motorcycle protective cover made of steel 11 320 with a thickness of 1.5 mm. The production batch is set at 80,000 pieces per year. Based on the analysis of the production methods and according to the prescribed requirements, deep drawing is chosen as the appropriate method. The manufacturability is verified with the help of calculations, which is followed by the design of the ideal shape of the semi-finished product. The cut will be laser cut from a sheet of metal. After carrying out the technological calculations, the tool is constructed, including drawing documentation. A suitable machine is chosen for the tool, which is a universal hydraulic press CTH 250. The conclusion of the work is focused on performing a simulation to check the yield.
Manufacturing of a Wheel Nut With Outer Hexagon

The thesis deals with the design of a production technology for a wheel nut with an external hexagon, a tapered seating surface, and a shank. The production series is set at 200,000 pieces per year. The raw material is a coil of wire with a circular cross-section and a diameter of 20 mm made of steel 11 320. After evaluating the specified requirements and conducting a literature review, the production technology of cold forming is selected, specifically the combination of extrusion and upsetting. Three basic production processes are designed, which are subsequently optimized, and their manufacturability is verified using the simulation program Simufact Forming 1.6. For the most suitable production variant, the flow stress, deformation resistance, and forming forces are calculated for each operation. By comparing with the simulation results, the total force required to produce the given nut is determined, which is crucial for selecting a suitable machine. The forming machine used is a CBF 204L with a nominal force of 3,500 kN, for which a three-operation tool is designed. During the tool design, the internal radial pressure acting on the die is also verified. The results indicate that it is necessary to use encapsulation using a single clamp for the second operation. The tool is constructed to be compatible with the parts of the chosen machine according to the provided layout and available machine parameters.
